The Best Friend? To Go There or Not - | Luv and Relationships

So you have a best friend of the opposite sex and have been friends for a long time and then someone asks that question, ?So why haven?t you two dated?? I have a great best friend and he and I have been best friends for two years we have never looked at each other ?that? way and we have jokingly said if we aren?t married by a certain time then he and I would get married. So when you are best friends and it works can it work romantically as well?

I see a psychic she is now a friend more than anything and I am so thankful she is in my life she is that person to bring you up when you are feeling down about yourself. Recently she and I have been working on myself and how to improve on the way I think. We were talking about my upcoming surgery and who was helping me with my two dogs and I told her my best friend was watching them. She asked to see a picture of him and she asked why I never thought beyond friendship with him. And at the time I just said oh thats just my best friend. But then I started to think could it work? We get along. Everyday we are texting and facebooking each other. He is the first person I text and I am the first person he texts. Our personalities mesh so could it work? So now that I am thinking this way it is weird to look at him differently than before.

I know time and time again friendships have been ruined because they thought it could work and so they tried it out and failed. And they could never maintain their friendship again because of the awkwardness. But with him and I we are so out there that even if it didn?t work I think we could go back to what it was because we value our friendship so much. Everyone always says they don?t understand us when they read our facebook posts and it is hard to follow us. And it is because not only are we texting at that time we are facebooking and status updating so we are having five different conversations so it is hard to follow us when we are on our tangent so its best not to try because it won?t make sense.

So to cross the line or not? Stay tuned on that one. Because even though I am an impulsive person I know some things you need to go with the flow and see what happens. ?But regardless what happens I know I have a great friendship with someone and that I will cherish because in this world it is hard to find good friendships and to be able to trust them whole heartedly!
